'High risk' of Stage 1 load shedding from late afternoon on Thursday

Eskom's announced that there is a high risk of Stage 1 rotational load shedding from 5 pm to 10 pm.

The power utility says this is because of a shortage of capacity due to the loss of generating units at power stations.

However, it says load shedding will be implemented only if absolutely necessary.
