No unroadworthy vehicles on our roads during Easter, warns City of Cape Town
Member of the mayoral committee (Mayco) for safety and security Alderman JP Smith outlines the city's plans for the Easter holidays to ensure safety on the roads.
He says their focus will be on a range of public transport, particularly the long distance vehicles.

Smith says drunk driving is still a major problem no matter how much they talk about it and warn people not to do it.

Smith encourages motorists not to touch the steering wheel if they've been drinking as it puts people's lives in danger.
