CoCT installs CCTV cameras in public transport facilities for commuter safety
The City of Cape Town plans to rollout security cameras to all major transport hubs so as to improve commuter safety.
Mayoral Committee Member for Transport, Felicity Purchase, says the first batch of cameras will be installed in Claremont, Wynberg, Cape Town Station Deck, Mitchells Plain, Khayelitsha, and Bellville.
The cameras will also be installed in MyCiTi stations across Cape Town.
