African National Congress (ANC) secretary-general Ace Magashule has finally campaigned at a campsite in Hermanus after he and his supporters were denied entry earlier on Wednesday.
Magashule visited Paradise Park on an invite by community leaders.
A brief scuffle ensued with Paradise Park security when ANC supporters burst through the gates.
Despite this, Eyewitness News reporter Jason Felix says Magashule was eventually welcomed by several residents.
The issue stems as a security issue. Magashule was with several hundred supporters, supporters wanted to storm through the security gate and security officer tole them they cannot come in. Later after some more scuffles, police came and they found some leeway to allow the supporters through the area.— Jason Felix, Reporter - EWN
