[WATCH] Beatles tribute show 'Beatlemania' returns to SA

After enjoying successful tour runs in Durban and Cape Town last year, the Beatles tribute show Beatlemania has returned to South Africa.

The full cast of three Australian singers and one Scottish vocalist are performing at the Carnival City in Gauteng until 19 May, belting out hits from the 1960s rock-era live on stage.

Azania Mosaka spoke to the members of the cast - singers Joe Kane (as Paul McCartney), Zac Coombs (as John Lennon), Brent McMullen (as George Harrison) and Ben Harper (as Ringo) about the impact of these legends on their music careers.

Kane says he fell in love with the Beatles after seeing them on television.

That inspired me to learn guitar and write songs, and become a performer.
