'We take responsibility for our shortfall and don't blame anyone for our defeat'
Democratic Alliance spokesperson Solly Malatsi says the party's leadership takes full responsibility for losing almost half a million votes in the 2019 national elections.
He says this is the sentiment that came out of the federal executive committee meeting held on Monday.

Malatsi says there is a process to review the party's performance as well as the elections campaign in order to establish where they came short.
The next step will be to address those shortcomings in preparations for the 2021 local government elections.
