'Nobody with questionable integrity should occupy a position of responsibility'

With the sixth Parliament set to start work very soon, Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng said nobody whose integrity is questionable must ever be allowed to occupy a position of responsibility.

Speaking to Eyewitness News reporter Clement Manayathela in an exclusive interview, Mogoeng shared his advice for the incoming administration.

Nobody who does not have the capacity to do the job should be given the responsibility to do that job, nobody whose integrity is questionable must ever be allowed to occupy a position of responsibility because they are the mirror by which the global community views us.

Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng

Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng

The live interview on Facebook touched on ethics, leadership, racism, the relationship between the judiciary and the state and more.
