Patricia de Lille: We can't just blame one another, we need to offer solutions

Patricia de Lille's Good Party has two seats in the National Assembly and yesterday was sworn in as a Member of Parliament saying her party has a lot of love and support for President Cyril Ramaphosa but it is not unconditional.

She talks to Kieno Kammies and says it always feels good being back in the National Assembly.

We must always remember we are not inside Parliament representing ourselves and always find a way to get feedback and playing my role to get our country out of a very painful situation.

When asked about the resignation of national chairperson Nthabiseng Lephoko resigned who it is reported was upset because De Lille chose Shaun August as Member of Parliament over her, she responds.

You can't just give seats away to just anyone. We followed a due process - she was the interim chairperson - of which she was part. She was number 4 on the national list. You can't change the list once you have submitted it to the IEC.

She never had problems with the list until she did not get a position...but we wished each other well and we parted amicably.

De Lille says the voters have spoken and she is sure the president got the message.
