Suspended provincial spokesperson filed an urgent declaratory order with the high court to declare a recent meeting invalid.

The ANC in the Western Cape says it welcomes the high court ruling dismissing the application of suspended provincial spokesperson Lionel Adendorf to declare a recent meeting as invalid and illegitimate.

On Wednesday Adendorf filed an urgent declaratory order with the Western Cape High Court to declare a recent meeting, in which he was suspended, as invalid and illegitimate.

He's adamant that he wants his position back and is citing some factional battles within the ANC Western Cape which is, of course, an age-old problem.
