About 4 500 dignitaries and guest have been invited and 35 000 people are expected to attend Saturday's activities.

To discuss the inauguration, 702's Bongani Bingwa speaks to Home Affairs Minister and inter-ministerial committee member Dr Siyabonga Cwele.

It is all systems go, and we are just a few hours away from the big event tomorrow where we will be swearing-in President Cyril Ramaphosa.

Cwele says even though Ramaphosa is South African president, he is the president-elect for the new administration.

His current administration ends exactly when he gets sworn-in tomorrow, thereafter he will be the only one in the executive and he will have to appoint a new executive for the new administration.

He says the inauguration theme is 'Together celebrating democracy renewal and growth for a better South Africa' captures what needs to be done by the new administration.

In making sure that we accelerate growth, renew the way we do things and focus on growing the economy and create jobs for the millions of South Africans who are unemployed.

Everyone who goes to the stadium will have to be accredited and most people are already collecting their accreditation, he adds.

We will still be doing accreditations tomorrow from 3 am until 7 am. Those who want to walk in need to go to Afrikaans Hoerskool between 3 am, and 7 am to do their accreditation.
