Patricia de Lille is Zille-proof and Zuma-proof - John Vlismas

The elections may be over, but the political action certainly isn't.

Stand-up comedian John Vlismas comedian has his own unique take on what has happened and what may still happen.

The surprise Cabinet appointment of the Good party's Patricia de Lille gets the thumbs-up from Vlismas. He compares her to Ray Donovan of the American crime drama series who's a fixer for Hollywood's elite, but says she's been used by her former party, the Democratic Alliance (DA).

I love Ray Donavan, the programme. She's the Ray Donovan of local politics.

She doesn't talk like someone from the DA. Most people from the DA speak like Woolworths shoppers. They use words like 'unacceptable'

She keeps just doing good things, but then it turns out her best is Zille-proof it's Zuma-proof, it's Gupta-proof.

She's completely a survivor. They mustn't put her on that programme - she'll be the last one on that island.

Regarding the future of Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane after her contentious ruling on Pravin Gordhan, Vlismas has a concrete proposal - he says he's organising a fundraiser to send her to law school.

She's writing so much comedy, it's ruining my image. You can't write jokes and call it findings.
