Another truck has been attacked in the Western Cape.

A truck driver has suffered severe burn wounds after his truck was petrol bombed along the N1 roughly 10km outside of Touws River.

The Road Freight Association says 1,300 trucks have been damaged or destroyed over the past year.

Speaking to John Maytham, the Road Freight Association technical operations manager Gavin Kelly says they have gone through 18 months of attacks on trucks.
