Richard Le Sueur owns and runs Snow Report SA and says we can expect a dusting of the white stuff this week.

There is no doubt temperatures have been gradually dropping over the past few weeks as we head towards winter, but this week experts are predicting that it'll be cold enough for snow in some parts of the Western Cape.

Richard Le Sueur owns and runs Snow Report SA.

We are expecting snow this week in the Western Cape... it's going to be very light.

Richard Le Sueur, Snow Report SA

He says while we may see snow high up in places such as Franschhoek and even Somerset West, you'll have to travel a little further in you want to see it up close.

The only way you're going to access the snow is by going to somewhere like Matroosberg.

Richard Le Sueur, Snow Report SA

We're expecting about 5cm at some of the peaks.
