Social development is more than just grants, says Lindiwe Zulu
Minister of Social Development Lindiwe Zulu says communities need to be empowered about what social development is and the various functions they provide.
The Social Development Department launched its National Child Protection Week campaign this week. This year’s theme is 'Let us Protect All Children to Move South Africa Forward'.
Speaking to Joanne Joseph, Zulu says social development is about communities fixing areas where they live.

Zulu says family structures have changed and this has had an impact on child protection.
