'I never called her nasty,' Trump denies Duchess of Sussex insult

US President Donald Trump is preparing to leave the UK on the final day of his state visit.

Unsurprisingly it's been a well-publicised visit which has included meetings with Queen Elizabeth II, outgoing British Prime Minister Theresa May and Prince Charles.

During the trip, Trump also sat down for an exclusive one-on-one interview with journalist Piers Morgan, at one point addressing claims he'd referred to the Duchess of Sussex as 'nasty'.

He tried to defend himself, saying he hadn't been describing her as nasty. He was just saying that she'd been nasty to him in her comments about him.

The US number one also denied the existence of the numerous protests taking place in the UK in opposition to his visit.

Hunter says that's unsurprising.

Even when he's in Washington, that's an ongoing issue; we see often him tweeting information that doesn't necessarily comport with what we know to be the case.
