Doctor confirms it's safe to drink lots of coffee...but lose the sugar
Chris Hani Baragwanath Professor of Cardiology Richard Nethononda says it is safe to drink coffee but sugar is the biggest problem.
Nethononda agrees with research presented earlier this week by the British Cardiovascular Society’s conference that it is still safe to drink up to 25 cups of coffee a day without any risk to the heart.
However, he argues that too much caffeine could interfere with ionic channels which in turn could result in having heart palpitations.
