In just two days on Western Cape roads, 21 people lost their lives.

New Transport MEC for the Western Cape, Bonginkosi Madikizela talks to Kieno Kammies about why so many fatalities still occur.

Despite the increased use of technology and clampdowns, the death toll continues on the roads.

Technology is definitely part of our long-term strategy for transport but human behaviour remains a key factor.
