Hawks making progress in cases involving politicians

The Hawks’ National Clean Audit Task Team has closed in on 14 politicians in KwaZulu Natal and the Free State who appear to have behaved corruptly.

The unit is expected to pay a number of other visits to many more suspects.

Hawks head, lieutenant-general Godfrey Lebeya says the recent arrests are related to fraudulent activities that have to do with service delivery.
