China, the world's biggest emitter of greenhouse gases has recently reaffirmed its goal to curb carbon emissions by 2030. Its new carbon intensity reduction target was submitted to the United Nations.
Professor Harald Winkler wrote in the Cape Times today commenting on how South Africa could learn from China.
