South Africans the 6th sexiest nationality on the planet - global survey

The poll left the definition of 'sexy' up to respondents.

South Africa may be dealing with some head-scrambling issues, but as a nation we're awesome, right?

Well, a global survey seems to affirm that, as it's just ranked South Africans the sixth sexiest nationality in the world.

Big 7 Travel is the international digital platform that earlier this year also ranked the South African accent the second sexiest, anywhere.

For the 'sexiest nationality' poll, it surveyed 1.5 million people across the globe.

This is how it described the country: South Africa is a wonderful melting pot of cultures, making it a beautifully diverse and sexy place to be. You might recognise: Charlize Theron, Elon Musk, Trevor Noah.

South Africa beat Italy which came in seventh and missed out on fifth place to Australia.
