[WATCH] Trump said 'army took over the AIRPORTS' during the Revolutionary War
US president Donald Trump gave his 4th of July Independence Day speech behind a plexiglass screen on a very rainy Washington DC evening on Thursday.
Much to the amusement of Twitter, the president said 'the army took over the AIRPORTS' during the Revolutionary War even though that battle happened over 120 years before airplanes and airports were invented.
During the American Revolution between 1765 and 1783, American patriots in the 13 colonies defeated Britain and won independence to become the United States of America.

Trump slurring and then trying to read off a TelePrompTer about the Continental Army supposedly taking over the airports in 1781 is...no words. #TrumpSpeech pic.twitter.com/83Tv6vsN8x
