SA woman scoops pool world championship title
It's been quite the month for women in sport with Team USA romping to victory in 2019 Women's World Cup at the weekend and perhaps the lesser known World Eightball Pool Championships taking place in the UK in June.
While Banyana Banyana may not have brought home the silverware for South Africa, in a little corner of England, Amy-Claire King from Gauteng proved she had what it takes to beat out the competition.
Not only did she win the singles trophy, she was also named 'Player of the Tournament' and helped the Proteas ladies team to the world championship as well.
She joined CapeTalk's Pippa Hudson to talk about her recent victory.
