The Electric Vehicle Road Trip Africa will make its way to South Africa for the very first time from 2 October to 10 October 2019.

Generation.e, alongside the Department of Transport and the Gauteng provincial government, will embark on a road trip across the country, starting in Johannesburg and ending off in Cape Town.

Generation.e CEO Ben Pullen says there is a range of activities across the road trip including a safari and visiting hydropower plants, as well as test driving the cars.

We will be doing some drag racing in Bloemfontein, electric versus petrol.
