Its a date! An evening with Joan Armatrading is set for 3 July, Cape Town

On this week’s music feature we highlight singer, songwriter, guitarist and pianist, an inspiration to many over a 40 year career, Joan Armatrading.

Armatrading has released 18 studio albums as well as a number of live albums and compilations.

Performing in Cape Town tonight at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), Armatrading, 65, tells CapeTalk’s Pippa Hudson that she is not about to retire. She is on a world tour that will end in November 2015.

A second concert has been added for tomorrow at CTICC, tickets available at Computicket – R450 to R650.
