[LISTEN] Reliving interracial love stories under the Immortality Act

This week marked the 70th anniversary since the Prohibition of Mixed Marriages Act was introduced, followed by the Immorality Act, which were both repealed in the 80s.

Joanne Joseph interviewed actress Mara Louw who, with her partner, overcame the law and entered a mixed-race marriage.

Joseph also spoke to Protas Madlala who married while the Immorality Act was still in place.

Mara Louw, Actress and singer
