Medisyn Clinical Consulting's Shafrudeen Amod says journalists never bothered to check the facts before reporting.

Medisyn Clinical Consulting medical law consultant Shafrudeen Amod has slammed the media for false reporting on the medical aids' refusal to pay black and Indian practitioners.

The Star newspaper reported that black healthcare service providers had been dealt a blow with a ruling that indicated that the courts could not force medical aids to make payments.

Amod says there was never a court case, to begin with.

There has been a proliferation of incorrect facts. There has been no court case.

Due to some irresponsible reporting from the regional article which appeared in The Times, it has just been replicated by _Medical Brief _and then replicated by The Star. None of these reporters bothered to check the facts.
