Du Toit says although Zuma dominated on Monday with a lengthy political statement, Tuesday saw him lose the initiative.

He struggles when he's asked questions for which he has not prepared - if he's asked questions where his lawyer can't sit next to him, where he can't speak to him.

Jacob Zuma is in trouble. He oscillates between 'I don't know' to 'I can't recall' to ' I don't remember.

Pieter du Toit, Assistant news editor - News24

He was agitated, he was irritiated, I saw a man under pressure.
