Professor David Coplan chats about his friendship of 44 years with Johnny Clegg

Professor David Coplan, Johnny Clegg's longtime friend and colleague, pays tribute to his friend since 1975.

Coplan says Clegg updated him on what was happening in South Africa when he would visit in the US where Coplan was stationed at the time.

We had discussed the situation quite a few times, and I knew what treatment he was on and what the prospects were.
