Old Mutual on Thursday declined an offer to settle the case with its former CEO Peter Moyo, before making its arguments.

Judge Brian Mashilo proposed the settlement and gave both parties 15 minutes to consider it.

However, the two sides failed to agree.

Moyo’s lawyer, Advocate Dali Mpofu, said Old Mutual is victimising his client and that its Chairperson Trevor Manuel is “gunning for him”.
