Residents blocked roads leading into parts of Ennerdale, Zakariyya Park and Lenasia South over land invasion protests.

The City of Johannesburg MMC for Community Safety Michael Sun says they are concerned about the protests taking place in Johnennsberg South.

Residents blocked roads leading into parts of Ennerdale, Zakariyya Park and Lenasia South as they protested on Friday morning against the occupation of land in the area.

Speaking to Ray White on the Xolani Gwala show, Sun says they are alert in case more protests erupt.

Michael Sun, MMC for Community Safety - City of Johannesburg
