Why South Africans should care about the state of politics in the country

Political analyst Aubrey Matshiqi says because South Africans fought for liberation against the apartheid government, we can't ignore the current state of politics in the country.

In some ways when we talk about so many millions going into a political campaign of a single politician, in an African National Congress leadership battle, you are talking about why we fought a liberation struggle. And why we thought that the party would be the vehicle through which we fight that liberation struggle.
