Refilwe Moloto says dollars and euros are important but President Cyril Ramaphosa should address the reality facing South Africa.

President Cyril Ramaphosa says infighting in the African National Congress (ANC) and divisions in the country will scare local and international investors.

Addressing an ANC Women's League meeting on Tuesday night, the president emphasised that the squabbles will create instability.

Refilwe Moloto engages CapeTalk listeners on what they think about the president's focus on the investors.

What are we watching spaces for? What about rolling up your sleeves and getting to work? The most powerful currency in the country should be the people's vote, not dollars and euros.

Refilwe Moloto, Show host

What frustrated me about what he (Ramaphosa) said was he was so focused on what investors see.

Refilwe Moloto, Show host

I don't need inspirational speaking from him, I need reality and implementation. We are in a difficult spot as a country.

Refilwe Moloto, Show host

I believe Cyril Ramphsoa is there for the right reasons and it just astounds me the amount of criticism that comes his way when he has tons of bigs issues to deal with.

Mitchelle, Caller

He is keeping up appearances and it is frustrating.

Louise, Caller

Unfortunately, we do need foreign investments to deliver jobs, lift the economy etc.
