Public Investment Corporation hearings wrap up
The Public Investment Corporation (PIC) commission of inquiry has now wrapped up.
Commissioner Justice Lex Mpati has spent the last few months hearing testimony into alleged irregularities at the state-owned entity.
Eyewitness News reporter Kgomotso Modise says the commission will now have to consolidate the information that it has gathered, consider the submissions made by the 77 witnesses and make recommendations to President Cyril Ramaphosa.
We also have the process of some people who do feel that they were not accommodated to make their submissions. Not all the people implicated were given an opportunity to present and so that process still has to take place.
Kgomotso Modise, Reporter - EWN
For now we will not be sitting, unless otherwise decided by commissioner Lex Mpati.
