The singer/songwriter joins Relfiloe Mpakanyane in studio for this week's Friday Profile and 702 Unplugged.

Zoë Modiga has shared the stage and worked with some of South Africa’s finest musicians including Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Thandiswa Mazwai, Johnny Clegg, Simphiwe Dana, Tshepo Tshola and more.

Modiga will be performing at the Standard Bank Joy of Jazz next month.

The singer/songwriter joined Relfiloe Mpakanyane in studio for this week's Friday Profile and 702 Unplugged.

What is so amazing about my journey is that I had people give me permission from very early on so by the time I had the opportunity and honour to work with these amazing Grammy-winning and life-changing musicians from South Africa, I was ready to meet that opportunity.

Zoë Modiga, singer/songwriter

Even ordinary people that are not necessarily in the music space are feeding into my purpose, which for me becomes the most important because that tells me that I am impactful beyond the people that come before me and my peers in the music space.
