Elinor Sisulu says the government should prioritise indigenous languages.

A group of activists has launched a campaign calling for President Cyril Ramaphosa to intervene in what they call a 'systematic marginalization' of Africans in mother tongue education.

The campaign is seeking assistance from the public to address the 'exclusion of black academics from literacy and African language development.'

Nickolaus Bauer speaks to Puku Foundation executive director Elinor Sisulu.
