Various disruptions of Uber services have happened recently, including the Cape Town authorities’ restriction on Uber drivers, which saw over 200 Uber vehicles being impounded since January.
There were also recent reports of the intimidation of Uber drivers in Johannesburg by metered taxi drivers.
We ask, should an accident occur, who is responsible for damages to other cars, or for damages incurred by an Uber driver and their passengers?
