True Messenger App launches - for Android

The developers of True Caller app for Android which is powered by Google Inc. announced the launch of True Messenger on Tuesday.

The app is aimed at making SMS smarter and spam-free. True messenger utilises the company’s network of users to verify the identity of those who send text messages.

The app identifies the sender of the SMS and detects, block or report spam, fraud, telemarketing, sales, and unknown phone numbers.

To tell us more about this app is Stuart Thomas, Senior Reporter at MemeBurn:

According to Thaomas this is an app that tries to give everyone control over their phones and minimise the frustrations of receiving unwanted messages.

The app is available on Google Play Store.
