Music: Steve Tyler new release, Just Jinjer come back and Crocodile Harris died

Crocodile Harris

A famous local musician, Crocodile Harris died earlier this week. He is mostly remembered by if you his hit ballad “Give me the Good News” which went to number one on the SA charts in 1983.

Harris was born Robin Graham in 1950 and lived in Somerset West for several years, working as an assistance sports master at Somerset house school.

In his music career, Harris shared a stage with the like of Al Jarreau and Bonnie Tyler, as well as winning a prize at the Cannes Music Festival.
