A UCT Professor at The centre for Higher Education says that there is a critical need to radically change the curriculum in South African universities.

According to Professor Suellen Shay - Dean at The Centre for Higher Education, the national data on drop-out rates shows that many students are not prepared for university, and the persistent inequalities in the local education system remain.
