Four City of Cape Town officials were arrested on Tuesday for allegedly issuing fraudulent vehicle licenses.
The City’s Special Investigating Unit arrested the officials on charges of fraud and corruption.
The officials are implicated in a matter of illegally issuing licenses, mostly to taxi operators.
It is believed that they have been part of this illegal operation since 2013.
