At the age of 12, Malikah Hamza has already made her mark and excels in six different sporting codes (swimming, water polo, cricket, indoor hockey, hockey and soccer).
Three years ago, Malikah became the youngest South African hockey player to land a professional sponsorship contract with Mr Price Sport.
Speaking to CapeTalk's Kieno Kammies, Malikah says she enjoys cricket and hockey equally and wears Western Cape colours for under-13 hockey and under-15 cricket.

Malikah is the youngest cricketer ever to play against a senior international cricket side in a T20 match (at 11 she played against the Zimbabwe national ladies side and took the first wicket in the match) and she’s the youngest professional hockey player in South Africa.
