The Railway Safety Regulator is now investigating what caused Friday night’s train crash at the Booysens station in Joburg on Friday night that saw 239 people being injured.
Stephen spoke to Railway Safety Regulator CEO, Nkululeko Poya, who confirmed that signal fault was indeed the main reason behind this crash. He said that the circuit that the signal runs on was malfunctioning and that it was PRASA's responsibility to maintain this circuit.
