Fabulous life:What are the health benefits of juicing

On this week’s Fabulous life we shift our focus to juicing, an easy way to get more fruits and veggies into your diet.

Raw juice bars are everywhere these days including the gym. But what’s the hype all about?

Cape Talk presenter Pippa Hudson is joined by Joy Bromilow who is the founder of Faith juices, a raw juice business based in the South Peninsula. Bromilow left her eight years career as a social media marketer to start her juicing business.

According to Bromilow juicing is more like a daily injection of nutrients into your body.

Pippa Hudson also spoke to Elise Gordon, Dietician about the health benefits of juicing:

Many people don’t eat enough fruits and vegetables in their diet… if it is a supplement and a way to get fruits and vegetables in your diet, I completely support it

Elise Gordon, Dietician

According to Gordon people sometimes consume too much sugar by putting too many fruits in their juice which can be a health hazard.
