The Executive Director of the Manufacturing Circle, Coenraad Bezuidenhout, believes the controversial R600 million locomotives acquired by Prasa could have been manufactured locally.
Bezuidenhout says South Africa has the capacity to make the locomotives, including manufacturing capacity that was owned by black entrepreneurs.
