In the current edition of the magazine Marie Claire, they featured a picture of DJ Euphonik (and other celebrity males) wearing high heels, in what is supposed to be an edition of the magazine showing that prominent men are opposed to the abuse of women.
The blunder however, is that Euphonik was accused by his ex-girlfriend Bonang Matheba three years ago of assault. Matheba claimed that Euphonik punched her in the face, although he was never formally charged.
Stephen speaks to Director of Media Monitoring Africa, William Bird about whether he thinks Marie Claire made the right choice by featuring Euphonik.

It looks like Marie Claire might be trying to spin out of this blunder. My advice to them is to take him out of the campaign and go public with it. It's offensive to women who go through domestic abuse on a daily basis.— William Bird, Director of Media Monitoring Africa
