Morena Mothupi gave a report of the Tour de France to date but he also gave us a sneak peek into his personal experience of his journey at the Tour de France so far.

Speaking to Derek Alberts on 702 and Cape Talk's SportsTalk, Mothupi reflected on the past week:

When you take stock and you're thinking about the next day and just for a second you think 'I'm actually at the Tour de France, I'm at probably the biggest annual sporting event in the world - I'm in France'. It's not everyday that people can say that they're in France, and it's not everyday that people can say that they're in France watching the Tour de France. You're sitting there taking these awesome videos of people lining the streets of France, you're viewing the Alps! This is probably something I'll never forget.
