The South African unemployment rate has fallen from 26.4% to 25% in second quarter, according to figures released by Statistics SA.
Stats SA reported that the economy created jobs, despite weak economic growth and low business confidence.
According to Stats SA 198 000 jobs were created in the second quarter, with the formal sector accounting for the largest share, including in the community and social services, construction, and trade.
