Selecting a regional Lead SA hero is the best tough decision to make

Lead SA is founded on active citizens doing what they can where they are to benefit their communities.

Every month we profile two from the Western Cape including one that is making a difference under the age of 21 as a youth hero.

Over the months, we have profiled ordinary South Africans doing uplifting work in their neighbourhoods or broader communities because there was a need and because they could help.

They seek no praise and rarely ask for anything to get involved but their work deserves recognition and their stories inspire others.

We invite nominations for those every day heroes and share their stories. For the Lead SA anniversary each August (Lead SA turns five) we select regional winners from the Western Cape and Gauteng and then overall winners that will receive R250 000 to build on their work.

This weekend the Lead SA judges will make the tough decision to decide which of the deserving nominees will become the regional winner.
