Prasa drama continues

In the latest developments, EWN's Gia Nicolaides reports that the axed Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (Prasa) group CEO Lucky Montana has opened several criminal cases, one of them against Chairman Popo Molefe for allegedly trying to blackmail the rail agency’s head of engineering, Daniel Mtimkulu.

Montana also showed media an sms he claimed is from Molefe to Mtimkulu saying, he must co-operate with Molefe otherwise he will make the situation worse for him.

Police will have to investigate that all these allegations can be proven. Prasa denies these allegations and says that Mtimkulu and Montana cannot be trusted.

In the meantime, the former Engineer at Prasa, Mtimkulu is himself facing fraud charges for lying about his qualifications. He later resigned while Montana was released by the board without serving his resignation notice period.
