American venture capitalist invests in local Uber-esque home cleaning service

A local, Uber-like home-cleaning service has been selected by Silicon Valley-based venture capital fund 500 Startups.

A South African home-cleaning service, SweepSouth, which works on the Uber model, has been selected by Silicon Valley-based venture capital fund and start-up accelerator 500 Startups.

The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield interviewed Aisha Pandor, Co-Founder of SweepSouth.

I got the idea when I struggled to find a domestic worker when I was on holiday in Cape Town.
